Maidens by His Design

My Maidens by His Design classes can be made to fit your needs. As a general rule, this is typically a 4 week class for 3 hours each week. I also have the ability to teach this course as a fun weekend workshop. This class is designed as a mother-daughter class geared towards daughters ages 8-15 years old. Through this class, girls are given information about growing up as a daughter of a perfect Creator. They learn about their bodies, their menstrual cycle, and how to take good care of the body God has given to them.

With how society and the culture are today, there can be a lot of embarrassment and negativity in the thought of a menstrual cycle. Often it can be hard to engage in this talk because it doens't feel natural or normal. This course helps younger girls understand that this is a completely normal and natural part of life. Through this course, I encourage duaghters to feel open to seeking support from their mothers. This is a great bonding class for mothers and daughters as both get to enjoy this experience together.

Class sessions are interactive and fun as everyone will have an opportunity to participate. This is more than just a lecture series, it's hands on to help engage everyone to get the most out of this class. I love that through this class, girls are able to understand that they don't need to worry or fear the upcoming changes. Instead, they learn to celebrate this new journey into womanhood as a fearfully and wonderfully made creation of God.
